The documents relate to the fictional writing of Rosemary Manning, both in the project research and in the writing process. LGBTQ+ material is also present in the collection, and writing referring to the writer’s coming out is present in autobiographical and interview form.

The archive also contains personal correspondence and materials relating to Forster’s family members, photographs of Forster throughout her life and a collection of books signed and dedicated to her.
