This collection consists of records created by Women in Profile, such as newsletters, correspondence, reports and promotional material (1987-2007); records created by other local organizations that Women in Profile collected over the years, such as invitations and posters to local exhibitions and business cards of local artists (1987-1990); as well as photographs and slides (1987-1992). There is also a large series of the records of Castlemilk Womanhouse (1989-2015).
Correspondence to and from Take Root. This includes letters from Take Root promoting the project, organising meetings and training, and correspondence from members. Also included is correspondence to Take Root from students, concerning their dissertations, new membership queries and organisations wishing to work with the group.
