National Federation of Women WorkersThe collection is mainly comprised of ephemera relating to Women Live- such as posters, leaflets, programmes, badges, newspaper cuttings regarding each of the festivals and other events. There is also various correspondence relating to sponsorship and membership; several drafts and copies of the constitution; minutes of meetings; agendas; newsletters; photographs of events and performers as well as biographies of certain performers and information from similar groups or movements.
Women Live ScotlandThis collection consists of records created by Women in Profile, such as newsletters, correspondence, reports and promotional material (1987-2007); records created by other local organizations that Women in Profile collected over the years, such as invitations and posters to local exhibitions and business cards of local artists (1987-1990); as well as photographs and slides (1987-1992). There is also a large series of the records of Castlemilk Womanhouse (1989-2015).
Women in ProfileThe collection contains records relating to Take Root, the self-build group which existed from 1993 to the early 2000s. It contains meeting, finance and administration papers, correspondence, construction plans, press cuttings, publications and photographic and audio-visual materials. Because Take Root worked with several other organisations in Glasgow and Scotland, the collection contains meeting papers of Molendinar Park Housing Association and press cuttings and publications of various self-build projects including the Walter Seagal Self-Build Trust, Community Self-Build Scotland, and Centre for Alternative Technology.
Take RootThis collection consists of records created by Scottish Women's Aid and local women's aid groups, including annual reports, newsletters, organisational records, promotional material, publications, and other ephemera. There is also a large series of news cuttings included in the collection that were collected by workers at Scottish Women's Aid, primarily from the mid-1970s to early 1990s. The collection also includes informational materials from related organisations used by staff at Scottish Women's Aid.
This collection is currently undergoing processing as part of the Speaking Out: Recalling Women's Aid in Scotland project (2015-2017) and a number of oral histories have been collected and will be added into the archive in late 2017.
Scottish Women's AidPapers of the Scottish Abortion Campaign (SAC), a pro-choice organisation based in Scotland. Collection includes papers relating to the running of the SAC; correspondence, press releases, agendas and minutes of meetings, newsletters, event material, press cuttings &etc. Also includes papers relating to the National Abortion Campaign; correspondence, newsletters, conferences, bulletins &etc. Other papers include material relating to anti-abortion campaigns, including parliamentary campaigns.
