This file contains one bound draft copy of Barbara's play Patterns, and some loose pages from drafts of the play. Patterns is a play that examines women's labour. It was commissioned by Changing Women’s Theatre, and performed in 1984 at the Drill Hall Theatre in London.

This subseries contains materials Barbara used to research her various pieces of fiction and non-fiction. It includes articles, photocopies of pages of books, leaflets, as well as Babara's own handwritten and typed-up notes.
