This file contains a collection of letters sent to Barbara by her partner Joy.
This leaflet is titled "In Other Words: A Celebration of Women Writing". It is advertising an event in which women writers, including Barbara, were speaking and hosting workshops.
This is a compilation of character profiles that Barbara created for each character within the play Patterns.
This subseries contains one copy of the Way She Walks, a short story about two best friends, Penny and Jenny, who are in love with the same woman. While it is not signed by Barbara, it explores themes common in much of her work and the corrections are in a hand that resembles hers.
A copy of the first chapter of an untitled piece of prose fiction. It is unclear whether or not it is by Barbara. The chapter revolves around the theme of family, focussing particularly on a woman named Beatrice, her cousins and her aunt.
A collection of some of Barbara's handwritten notes.
A copy of "Sarah B and the Twinkle", a short story by Yvonne Anderson.
Kassandra is a short story by Mary Roscoe. The full title of the item is "KASSANDRA - Another version by Mary Roscoe (with no apologies to Peter Hall)".
The Dragon is a short story by H.S Wright.
Getting Away from it All is a short story about two women who meet while out walking on a misty day in the countryside. The author is unknown, however, the item looks as if it is a photocopy, therefore it is unlikley to have been written by Barbara herself.
