The materials donated were collected during the research for the Dobashes' book, Violence Against Wives (1979), which was a fundamental resource in the early work of Women's Aid groups throughout Scotland. The donation included four boxes of press cuttings and one box of mixed materials including personal correspondence to Rebecca and Russell Dobash, Scottish Women's Aid and local Women's Aid groups documents and newsletters (which have been arranged into their corresponding series), and other publications.
